PALS (Personalized Access to Learning and Services)

PALS (Personalized Access to Learning Services) is a web-based portal which can be modified by each user to meet his or her online needs and preferences. It is a secure site connecting Alamo Colleges' Faculty, Staff, & Students to Academic Resources, Email, & other Online Services.

Administrative services* are available from:

*Administrative Services within PALS include: Student registration, financial aid, grades, faculty class lists, grades uploads, employee benefits information, leave balances, etc.

Email and Blackboard are available 23 hours a day
The systems are unavailable between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. for a maintenence period.

Username & Password

First Time Users

Your PALS Password is the first two characters of the last name in upper case followed by the last six digits of the social security number.

EXAMPLE:
John Doe
SSN = 123987654
John Doe's Password = DO987654

Forgot your PALS username?

• Click on the PALS webpage for your college (see "Login to PALS" above)
• Click on “1. Click Here to obtain your PALS login user name” link.
• You will be prompted to enter your social security number. Click on the SUBMIT button.
• Your Username will be highlighted in RED.
  EXAMPLE: Your PALS User Id is jdoe and you are a PAC Student

Forgot your PALS password?

• Click on the PALS webpage for your college (see "Login to PALS" above)
• Select the "Click here" link located beneath “Forgot Your Password?".
• Enter your:
  • PALS User ID (example: jsmith23)
  • Last 6 Characters of your SSN (no dashes)
  • Date of Birth (YYYYMMDD) 19500101 is January 1, 1950) , then Submit.
• Your password has been changed to the first two characters of the last name in upper case followed by the last six digits of the social security number.
