TSI Exam (Replaces the ACCUPLACER test)
The TSI (Texas Success Initiatives) Exam is the newest placement test provided for all prospective students entering Alamo Colleges.
All students who plan to enroll at Alamo Colleges/CTTC will need to complete a free online admissions application called ApplyTexas. The website is www.applytexas.org. Once the student information is downloaded into our system from ApplyTexas, then the student will be issued an I.D. number called a Banner number. Students must have a Banner number prior to taking the TSI exam.
On testing day:
All students must have completed the Apply Texas application, the GOFAAR and TESTPREP modules located in your ACES portal (Start Here Tab), and have their photo I.D. and Banner ID
The TSI Exam is given at the CTTC at the following times:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am (please arrive 10 minutes early)
Wednesday 3:00pm (please arrive 15 minutes early)
As of August 26, 2013 the TSI Exam fee will be $32.00 for the full test and $12.00 for each partial section. We accept cash, electronic check, and credit card through the virtual business office.
We do not offer the TSI Exam for other institutions, Alamo Colleges students only.
