Alamo Colleges District Staff Council
Mission
We, the District Staff Council (DSC) of the Alamo Colleges, strive to enhance professionalism of all staff members by increasing access to information, participation, communication and recognition.
Purpose
The purpose of the District Staff Council shall be the following:
- To represent classified, professional, part-time, and temporary staff (heretofore referred to as "staff" at the Alamo Colleges.
- To discuss issues that concern the job welfare and job environment of all staff of the Alamo Colleges.
- To appoint representatives to serve on committees and task forces.
- To serve as a communication link between the staff, faculty, and administrators of the Alamo Colleges.
- To conduct studies or surveys regarding matters of concern.
- To promote staff development activities.
- To have input in the Alamo Colleges' Administration policy and budget decision-making rules and regulations for the benefit of staff
