Respondus LockDown Browser is a browser that does not allow certain activities to happen well taking a exam. The activites include, but no limited to, IM, opening other browsers, email. print and print screen.

When I click on my exam it requires me to download Respondus LockDown browser?

Yes, when a faculty members activates Respondus LockDown Browser you will have to download the browser. Once downloaded you will have to navigate in the new browser back to https://vista.alamo.edu and login and start the assessment again.

Can Respondus be used both on MACs and PCs?

Yes, Respondus LockDown Browser can be used on MACs and PCs. During the first download you will have to select your computers platform.
