Bringing College Opportunities Closer To You!

The Education and Training Centers were established by the Alamo Colleges to serve as a link between San Antonio and the Alamo Colleges - Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College, and San Antonio College. Our mission is to ensure the delivery of services in such a way that our community's needs are met in the most efficient and effective manner by creating partnerships with local churches, community-based organizations, and Independent School Districts.

To eliminate barriers that traditionally restrict access to college for students from diverse backgrounds & cultures.

To guide and promote pathways that students can take to attain their full potential which will help them utilize their acquired skills to contribute to today's dynamic workforce.

Student Centered, Community Focus, Creating Safe Spaces

The Education & Training Centers are committed to helping students by providing free GED classes, computer skills workshops, enrollment processing assistance with admissions, financial aid, and assessment of basic skills to prospective and/or returning adult students who are interested in attending any of the Alamo Colleges. We are also an avenue for community residents interested in acquiring entry-level occupation skills or increase technical skills in order to connect to better job opportunities.
