New "Employee Discounts" Link
We are excited to announce that the Human Resources Department website now has information about discounts for our employees. Access the "Employee Discounts" page from the menu on the left.
As a means to communicate the sometimes unknown benefits of employment at the Alamo Colleges, this website will be a quick reference for such information.  Should you have any ideas, or information of any other discounts available to Alamo Colleges employees, your feedback is certainly appreciated and should be directed to Ed Contreras (econtreras@alamo.edu) in the Human Resources Department.

Phased Retirement Program Offered

Phased Retirement Program Form (PDF)

The Phased Retirement Program is a new option for retirement eligible employees to move gradually into retirement while phasing out of full-time employment. This approach to retirement may provide a smoother personal, professional and financial transition from full-time employment, to part-time employment and finally into retirement. Employees who decide to participate in the program will have an opportunity to work after retirement on a part-time basis, at their pre-retirement pay rate. Staff and administrators may work up to one year preceding their full retirement; faculty may work up to three years.

Click the link above for more information on the Phased Retirement Program.
