INFORMATION:

Employees may attend any accredited college or university that offers certificate programs, undergraduate or graduate degrees (e.g. UTSA, OLLUSA, Park College, Webster, SWT, U.S. Open University, etc.).

Lower division undergraduate courses may be reimbursed only if the course is not available through an ACCD college. Therefore, employees seeking a Bachelor's degree must have or complete the maximum transferable hours within an ACCD college before seeking tuition reimbursement by way of this program.

Tuition assistance is not available under this program for previously completed or reimbursed course work. Faculty members should first seek assistance through college faculty development funds before requesting assistance under this program.

Tuition reimbursement (under this program) is possible up to $1500 per employee per fiscal year. Reimbursement is subject to being pro-rated based on the number of applicants, availability of funds and will only be applied to tuition and lab fees. Awards will also be based upon priority consideration in the following order: first Bachelor, Certification for classified & trades employees, first Master, Certification for faculty & professional staff, and first Doctorate.
