The First Day Counts

Fall classes begin on 8/25

Your first week of class, especially the first day provides you with important information for the rest of the semester. The Alamo Colleges requires regular and punctual attendance in all classes. Your absences are recorded immediately. If you DO NOT attend on the FIRST DAY of each class in which you are enrolled, you will be DROPPED from the class. The student should confirm the withdrawal.

Alamo Colleges To Hold Two Public Hearings

Two public hearings will be held on a proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding tax year by 3.67 percent (percentage by which proposed tax rate exceeds lower of rollback tax rate or effective tax calculated under Tax Code, Chapter 26).

New for fall! Students, you no longer need a decal on your vehicle in order to park in student designated parking at any Alamo Colleges locations. A Campus Access Fee of $25 per semester, which is included when you pay your tuition and fees, gives you access to campus facilities, including open parking areas.

Toyota Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program

Toyota AMT

Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Texas has launched a scholarship program in partnership with the Alamo Colleges that allows participants to earn a two-year degree and a paycheck at the same time. Graduating high school seniors who have participated in local STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs — including Alamo Academies, First Robotics, PREP or Project Lead the Way — can apply.
