What is the San Antonio Welcome Back Center?
The San Antonio Welcome Back Center is designed to build a bridge between internationally trained healthcare professionals and the San Antonio healthcare sector. Our goal is to provide guidance to internationally trained healthcare professionals in order to integrate linguistically and culturally competent health services into underserved communities in the San Antonio area.
The San Antonio Welcome Back Center is a program offered though the Alamo Colleges and is located at the Westside Educational and Training Center. The Center works with partners in the healthcare field, educational programs, and community agencies. Our program provides services to healthcare professionals that live in the San Antonio area and need assistance navigating the credentialing process in order to become licensed professional in the United States.
