Immersion in the Old World through Drama and Literature

Faculty Leaders  

Dr. Elizabeth Hudspeth currently serves as the division chair for English, Reading, and Education at Northeast Lakeview College. She is also a full professor of English with 35 years experience teaching at the Alamo Colleges. Dr. Hudspeth has extensive travel abroad experience in countries including China, Russia, Poland, Germany, Greece, Italy, France, Estonia, Turkey, Denmark, and Finland. 

Lisa Fritschle is the director of theatre at Northeast Lakeview College. She has taught theatre for 14 years, both in high school and in college and has lived in Europe for five years. Among the countries listed in her travel portfolio are: Germany, France, Switzerland, Norway, and Sweden.

Payment Schedule 

Non-refundable application of $200 due with application: August 28, 2013 

Initial Deposit Due: $500 - September 13, 2013 

Second Payment Due: $1,250 - October 9, 2013 

Third Payment Due: $1,250 - October 30, 2013 

Final Payment Due: $1,150 - November 21, 2013 


If the Alamo Colleges cancels a faculty-led program due to low enrollment, students will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a refund of the $200 application fee.
