If you are new to online learning and/or have not taken the Orientation to Online Learning mini-course …Contact NLC’s Distance Learning Center at (210) 486-5372 or nlc-dlc@alamo.edu to register for the Orientation to Online Learning mini-course (OLRN 0001, CRN #13322 for Summer Session I,or CRN #13323 for Summer Session II, or CRN #18864 for Fall 2013). You can either complete this mini-course online or sign up for a “Face- to- Face” orientation by completing this online registration form. You’ll need to provide your Banner ID # and alamo.edu e-mail address, so have it ready!
If you’ve taken online courses before, but this is your first time using Canvas, Alamo Colleges’ new Learning Management System (LMS) … Consult the Canvas Quick Guide.
If you are familiar with online courses in Canvas …Contact your instructor and let him or her know you need clarification on how to proceed.
