An Articulation Agreement is an officially approved agreement between two institutions, which allows a student to apply credits earned in a specific program at one institution toward advanced standing, entry or transfer into a specific program at the other institution. These agreements are designed to build strong partnerships between community colleges and four-year institutions. The agreements match coursework between schools and help students make a smooth transition from one institution to another by minimizing duplication of coursework. Students are responsible for making sure they are taking the appropriate courses for transfer to another institution. The ultimate goal of articulation is to provide a smooth transition between the Alamo Colleges and the partnering University with little or no loss of credit hours. The following universities have established Articulation Agreements with the Alamo Colleges. Texas A&M University-Kingsville System Center University of Texas at San Antonio University of Texas at San Antonio (TATE) University of Texas at Dallas Kaplan University University of Phoenix Bellevue University Southern New Hampshire University Western Governor's University
