The SY Challenge Project

 Funded through the Lumina Education Foundation, Alamo Colleges, and Public Allies, the SY Challenge Project invites San Antonio College first-generation (neither parent has completed a bachelor's degree) Public Administration majors enrolled in PBAS 2364 or PBAD 2365 (Practicum) to complete their required practicum through the Public Allies program.


Requirements for eligibility are unchanged, except that students must be enrolled in one of the qualifying courses. Aside from completing the rigorous program described above, Public Administration students will also meet with their professor of record for additional assignments and monitoring.


Public Administration students will receive the same benefits outlined above and will also receive tuition to pay for the required practicum course.
