Accessing Your Online Course

You will log in to your course through ACES and select the "My Courses"
tab. The course content will be viewable by the first day of classes.
Click on the "How to Log in" arrow on the left for more information. |
Canvas Course Checklist for Students
- Download Firefox (recommended)
- Disable the pop-up blocker for https://aces.alamo.edu
- Access your course in ACES > My Courses
- Log in by the third day of classes and complete any required activities to avoid being dropped for non-attendance the first week.
Set Up Your Notification Preferences
Canvas can reach out to you in a variety of ways about updates to your online course. In Canvas, you can choose "how" and "how often" you want to be notified of updates in your course. These updates can be a new message, an announcement, a posted grade, changes to the content and much, much more. To learn more about setting up your notification preferences in Canvas, click here.
