What is the Student Learning Assistance Center (S.L.A.C.)?

The S.L.A.C. is designed to help the students of Alamo Colleges get the most out of their education. The S.L.A.C. supplements classroom instruction by offering learning strategies that enhance the success potential of traditional students in the college environment.

Who does the S.L.A.C. serve? 

The S.L.A.C. serves all currently enrolled Alamo Colleges' students. 

What services are available? When? 

The S.L.A.C. provides free computer, tutoring, and testing services.  

  Hours of Operation  Spring  2016  

Extended computer lab and tutoring hours for May 2 through May 7 (test proctoring hours remain the same)


Computer Services:

Mon. - Thurs.

8:00am - 10:00pm


8:00am - 5:00pm


9:00am - 5:00pm





Test Proctoring Services:

Mon. - Thurs.

3:00pm - 7:30pm


10:00am - 4:30pm


10:00am - 1:30pm

How does it benefit me? 

You can come to the SLAC to type term papers, do homework assignments, get tutoring assistance, take make-up exams, and much more. You can use all of the services we offer free of charge, except for printing. Printing must be paid for with either a GoPrint printing card or a GoPrint online account.
