Accounting, BCIS and Business
The Business Administration program is designed to (1) provide courses at the freshman and sophomore levels which will transfer to 4-year universities (2) provide training for developing marketable skills for immediate employment, (3) provide curriculum and training for upgrading current skills and positions. The program offers an array of theory-based, yet practical elements of effective business practices through such courses as: Business Principles, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Business Computer Applications.
The Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Business Administration prepares students for success in today’s ever-changing, competitive global environment. This program is ideal for the student who wants to earn an Associate’s degree that will provide a competitive edge in today’s workplace or wishes to transfer to a 4-year institution after completing the Associate’s degree. Upon transferring to a university, a student may choose a major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, International Business, Information Systems, Management, or Marketing.
