Transfer Scholarships

Terry transfer scholarship

The Terry Transfer Scholarship is awarded to non-traditional students who are transferring from a Texas community college or university and are working toward their first baccalaureate degree.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship offers community college students the opportunity to complete their bachelor’s degrees by transferring to a selective four-year college or university. Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree.

Guistwhite Scholarship Program

The Guistwhite Scholarships recognize Phi Theta Kappa members for outstanding academic achievement, leadership accomplishment and engagement in Phi Theta Kappa programs and is designed to assist in the members’ attainment of baccalaureate degrees.

Hites Transfer Scholarship

The Hites Transfer Scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement, engagement in college and community activities and leadership accomplishment of Phi Theta Kappa members preparing to transfer to senior institutions in pursuit of baccalaureate degrees.


Retaining Emerging Alamo College Talent in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (REACT-STEM) is a scholarship program that provides financial support and facilitates community college student transfer and transition to UTSA, while promoting academic excellence and STEM career development.
