Faculty Senate
The purpose of Northeast Lakeview College’s Faculty Senate is to present the views and recommendations of the college faculty to the administration and to the Board of Trustees of the Alamo Community Colleges as those views relate to policies on academic and professional matters. The senatorial electorate includes tenured/tenure track faculty who have completed one full, long-term semester as a Northeast Lakeview College employee prior to an election.
Staff council
NLC Staff Council strives to enhance professionalism of all staff members by increasing access to information, participation, communicate and recognition.

College Research Council
Purpose: explores opportunities, best practices, and the application of those practices and processes that reinforce student success and the NLC culture of evidence, including the promotion of Action Research and use of college students as subjects of college research

Curriculum Committee
Purpose: (appointed by VPAA & VPSS): reviews and recommends changes to the NLC curriculum and related academic policies and procedures

Honors Advisory Council
Purpose: works with the Director of Honors (TBA) in the development and operation of a vibrant and meaningful Honors program

Learning Communities Advisory Council
Purpose: works with the Coordinator (TBA) to ensure the development, coordination, and assessment of NLC Learning Communities
Library Advisory Council
Purpose: works with the Dean of Libraries in the establishment, growth, and operation of an exemplary higher education library
Professional Development Committee
Purpose: works with the NLC President and Vice Presidents in the identification and development of professional development priorities, criteria, and processes
Safety Committee (includes Crises Intervention Team)
Purpose: works with departments across the college to help ensure programs and processes are in place to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
Service Learning Advisory Council
Purpose: works with the Coordinator (TBA) to ensure the development, coordination, and assessment of NLC Service Learning opportunities

Strategic Planning and Budgeting Committee
Purpose: provides representative leadership in the updating and assessment of the NLC Strategic Plan and the development of budget priorities in support of District and institutional goals and objectives
Student Activity Fee Committee
Purpose: provides recommendations for the development of student life programming and the allocation of student fees

Student Hearing Committee
Purpose: sits as a hearing board and makes recommendations for the resolution of issues related to student discipline and academic improprieties. Members are required to attend training on legal issues related to student confidentiality

Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtable (TLTR)
Purpose: provides a forum by which learning-based technology issues and opportunities are discussed, presented, tested, and recommended
