| Frequently Asked Questions: (FAQs) |
I am undecided about my major and need more time to decide. What courses should I take?
We recommend that you follow the core curriculum courses listed for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree plans. The Texas legislature has mandated that all Texas public universities must accept the entire core curricula of any public post-secondary institution as meeting the core curriculum of their institutions. San Antonio College’s core curriculum will meet the core curriculum of any Texas public university. An outline of SAC's core curriculum is found in the San Antonio College Bulletin and at the Transfer Center.
We also recommend that you follow the core curriculum while you are researching majors.
