|TSI Exam Testing Schedule and Fees
The TSI Exam is administered on a space available basis. No appointment is required but students must come during the testing hours below.
We do not offer the TSI Exam for other institutions, SAC and Alamo Colleges students only.
Cost for the entire TSI Exam is $32.00 and retest fee per section $12.00. We advise all students to wait for the day of testing to pay for their test as testing fees are non-refundable.

*On Tuesday, the testing lab closes at 6:45 pm, the Essay test must be completed by closing of the testing lab. Other tests may be saved and continued the next day.
You MUST bring the following with you in order to test:
1. A valid photo ID (ex. State Driver's License, Student ID card, State ID Card, Passport);
2. Proof of payment.
3. Your Banner ID number.
Scratch paper will be provided for you to use during testing; however, no other notepaper or note-taking devices may be used during the test. An onscreen calculator will be provided for the Math Section of the test; no other calculators are permitted or any other electronic device.
You are not allowed to access any website other than the testing site provided to you by the testing proctor.
What to Expect:
Arrive at the Assessment center at least 15 minutes prior to the exam. The TSI Exam is an untimed exam. The average student takes 4 hours to complete the exam.
Results are available immediately following the exam. Please note that any unapproved items for your exam will not be allowed in testing rooms; cell phones, calculators, etc. It is advised to leave these items in a safe place while testing. You will not be allowed to test with any unapproved items in testing room.
