Information for Teachers

 The Alamo I-BEST team has been identified by Commissioner Raymond Paredes as a mentor college in the state of Texas for implementing innovational instructional and wrap-around service design for lower/under-skilled populations.  As part of this recommendation, as well as a commitment to identifying best practices across Texas, the Alamo I-BEST team regularly participates in and hosts professional development opportunities for both instructors and program administrators.  We always welcome visitors and equally enjoy visiting other programs to share and collaborate.  Alamo I-BEST also provides structured professional development sessions which can be tailored towards instructional, administrative, or policy/decision-making audiences.  For more information on upcoming professional development opportunities, or to schedule a session with your program staff, please contact Carrie Tupa, ctupa@alamo.edu.
