Program Accreditation & Licensure

Graduates from the program are awarded an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and are then eligible to sit for the examination to become a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential offered by the
Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). After passing the examination, the graduate is eligible for limited medical radiologic (LMRT) licensure in the state of Texas.

Graduation, certification and licensure are separate mechanisms and are the responsibility of the individual student.
