Gateway to College Program Reports Results

PAC’s Gateway to College program billed for $36,568.60 which is an increase of $550 from this time last year even though there was 1 less billable day in February as compared to last year.
 
Attendance rates have also improved in comparison to last year, in February 2008 the attendance rate was 84%, this February the attendance rate is 90%.   The attendance rate has not dropped below the 90% threshold in the Spring 2009 Semester.

Retention rates for the month have also increased in comparison to last year from 91.6% in2008 to 92.5% in 2009

Gateway to College has also accepted a total of five new student ambassadors for the 2009-2010 school year. These students will be volunteering at the PAC Adjunct Faculty Fair.

Committee Reports on Recycling Collection

The following information is provided by PAC’s Viva Verde Committee on the amount of poundage collected for recycling throughout campus:

January:          5,440 pounds
February:        4,240 pounds
