Teaching Philosophy:

I have been asked to explain my teaching philosophy, as though there is a single all-inclusive method employed. I will state only this: I will do everything within my control to help students understand biology.

Why I became a Biologist:

I became a biologist because I wanted to be a biologist.

Recommendations fort student success in my courses:

Success in any biology course requires that students: 
A) Be realistic about their goals 
B) Do everything within their control to earn biology.
