My goals in teaching are to present material at a university level. Teach you valuable fundamentals that you will take wherever you go, to encourage curiosity and resourcefulness, and to cultivate a sense of empathy and desire to be of service to others.
I come from a family of physicians, engineers, mathematicians, educators, and scientists. Exposure to the sciences at an early age fostered a love for the field and sense of wonder with the world around us.
Attend class and listen, but also participate and ask. It is never a stupid question, keep in min, thus ask and you will learn. Understand and rationalize the material, it will minimize greatly the memorization process. Read the material before coming to class, it makes easier the process of understanding concepts.
Click on the icon for the class you are attending and download an Excel Spreadsheet that you can fill in to see your current grade or perhaps what you need to make on your remaining tests or the final to make the grade you want.
