My philosophy on education is that everyone has special talents and gifts with the potential and ability to learn. My role as an educator is to be a catalyst for student learning and to optimize students for success. By establishing clear objectives, providing consistent teaching methods, constructive feedback, and individualized instruction I hope to unleash the passion for learning and challenge students to maximize their potential.
I became a nurse and neuroscientist in order to better understand biochemistry, physiology, and pathophysiology of how our bodies function in order to help others.
I am honored to serve and be a part of the Biology Department at SAC and the Alamo Colleges Network where our goal is to facilitate student success.
