My class is designed to help students improve their health by exploring their own nutritional intake using a computer diet analysis program and to develop a personal diet improvement plan.
When I took my first nutrition class in college, I was hooked! I changed my major to nutrition so that I could become a registered Dietitian. I continue to practice as a dietitian. I could become a Registered Dietitian. I continue to practice as a dietitian so that I can help patients improve their health through diet changes.
Prepare for class by reading the assigned chapters in our textbook. Be prepared to participate in group discussions of case studies that will bring the nutrition facts into real-life situations.
Our class sizes are small and students have the opportunity for individual attention and guidance from their professors.
