“Cap”ture Your Future Contest Winners Receive Prizes

Northeast Lakeview College presented its “Cap”ture Your Future Contest winners with their prizes at an all-college meeting on April 13. The winners included:

Ana Gonzalez
Winner of fourth Prize - NIKON CoolPix L24 Digital Camera

Lance Reynolds
Winner of third Prize - Coby 23” 1080P flat panel television

Roberto Rivera
Winner of second Prize - XBOX 360 4GB Console

Kelly Spencer
Winner of first Prize - Inspirion duo (Inspirion 1090) laptop computer

Additionally, in conjunction with the “Cap”ture Your Future Contest, the NLC Bookstore donated a free semester of textbooks for the Fall 2012 semester. This one-day contest that took place on Leap Day had students visiting the bookstore to fill out an entry form. The selected recipient of the free semester of books is David Quiroz.

The “Cap”ture Your Future contest was designed to create awareness for the uses and importance of an associate degree and encourage students to graduate with an associate’s from the Alamo Colleges. To enter the contest, participants were to find strategically placed graduation caps posted across the campus, photograph themselves with the cap in the photo, and post the picture to the contest page.
