District Employee Development Day

District Employee Development Day will be held Wednesday, October 24th, at the Norris Conference Center. This year's theme is "Ignite Your Passion: Supporting Student Success". The Human Resources Organizational Learning Team has planned a day full of breakout sessions, employee recognition and a keynote speaker from Tennessee, Dr. Joe Martin, focusing on supporting student success.

Professor Joe Martin is the Founder and President of RealWorld University. He is also a national award-winning speaker, university professor, published author, and educational consultant.

In spite of being reared in one of the toughest inner-city ghettos in Miami, Florida, Joe started his first business at the age of 22 and his second at the age of 26. He also became the youngest, tenured-earning faculty member ever hired to teach at a state university in Florida at the age of 24.

Sign up for District Employee Development Day in AlamoLearn in ACES. Questions about this event may be sent to Andrea Soriano, ext 50229, asoriano@alamo.edu.
