Speakers Share Stories with Students

Northwest Vista College has an inspirational lineup of speakers who will be visiting the campus to share their insight and knowledge.

Here’s a lineup of a few of the speakers set to come:

March 19 – Betty Ramirez Sinners is a motivational speaker and survivor of abuse - For location and time, contact Roopa Prasad.

March 25Kevin Hines is a speaker who deals with bi-polar disorders - He is one of 33 Golden Gate bridge jump survivors and is spreading the message of living mentally well and the prevention of suicide. He will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Palmetto Theater. The contact is Adriana Cantu of the Student Wellness Center.

April 15 – Ambassador Sichan Siv is an international best-selling author of “Golden Bones” - He escaped Cambodia’s killing fields in 1976 and will speak from 11 a.m. to noon in the Lago Vista room of the Cypress Campus Center. For more information, contact Marie Morgan of Student Leadership and Activities.
