Alamo Colleges Offers Free Help Applying for Financial Aid

To help students and parents with applying for state and federal financial aid for college, the Alamo Colleges is offering free sessions to provide information and one-on-one assistance in understanding the financial aid process and filing out the required forms correctly. Sessions will be held at all of the Alamo Colleges from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 1, March 1, April 5 and May 3.

For students who plan to attend one of the Alamo Colleges in Fall 2014, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted by May 1 in order for financial aid to be available before the fall semester begins.
