2014 LULAC Parent/Child Scholarship Accepting Applications

The San Antonio College Empowerment Center is accepting applications for their 2014 LULAC Parent/Child Scholarship. This unique opportunity offers benefits for both the parent, and the child. 

The parent would receive $250 per semester ($1,000) for four consecutive semesters – fall and spring only – if enrolled at an Alamo College. 

The child would be eligible to claim a two-year tuition and fee scholarship to attend any Alamo College after their high school graduation, when the parent completes an education goal – certificate, associate degree or university transfer. 

Twenty-five scholarships will be awarded this year. 

Priority deadline to apply is July 15, 2014. 

Other requirements: 

   Have a child age six or younger 

   Attend classes at an Alamo College in Fall 2014 

   Have less than 30 college level hours
