Complaint Form

Northeast Lakeview College is committed to an appropriate resolution of complaints as efficiently and effectively as possible. We believe providing a mechanism for complaints to be heard gives us the opportunity to improve our services.

Grievance Procedures

The Grievance Procedures define an administrative process in which students, faculty and academic employees can seek a resolution of their disputes.  These disputes may be academic or non-academic.

Academic Grievance

Faculty is responsible for classroom management, teaching strategies, testing, and evaluation of student performance. At academic institutions, conflicts may develop within the educational process that requires academic intervention using the Academic Grievance process. When student complaints cannot be resolved through informal interaction with a faculty member or chair/coordinator, students are directed to use the Academic Grievance procedure by filing a Student Academic Grievance form.

Non-Academic Grievance Form

The Non-Academic Grievance Policy provides a remedy for students who believe they have been the object of unjust treatment by an Alamo Colleges District employee. This policy does not apply to decisions regarding financial aid eligibility, student disciplinary actions, or academic matters.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

The Alamo Colleges District developed a Student Code of Conduct that governs the student disciplinary process. The Student Code of Conduct describes prohibited behaviors, potential sanctions for violations of the Code of Conduct, and the process for adjudicating alleged violations. All students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the Student Code of Conduct. The Student Code of Conduct can be found online:

To ensure compliance with Title IX, the Alamo Colleges have designated a District Title IX Coordinator and a Deputy Title IX Coordinator at each college.
