Northeast Lakeview College (NLC) is hosting the “Capture Your Future” graduation campaign contest and is giving away numerous prizes to create awareness for the uses/importance of an associate degree, encourage students to complete the core requirements, and graduate with an associate degree.

Prizes and contest rules are broken down into Two Tiers as follows:

To enter the contest and be eligible for TIER I prizes, participants must find strategically placed graduation caps posted across the NLC campus (1201 Kitty Hawk Rd.), photograph themselves with the cap in the photo, and post the picture, along with banner i.d to the contest on the NLC facebook page or email the photo and banner i.d. to nlc-public-relations@alamo.edu Participants are allowed multiple entries, but only one entry per cap location. Participants MUST be photographed individually.

TIER I Prizes include:  

• IPOD Shuffle ($48 value)
• IPOD Shuffle ($48 value)
• Voucher to the Northeast Lakeview College bookstore ($50 value)
• Voucher to the Northeast Lakeview College bookstore ($50 value)

To enter the contest and be eligible for TIER II prizes, participants must complete contest requirements as stated for TIER I prizes above AND be a SAC and/or NLC student attending Northeast Lakeview College who has completed 30-45+ and has a degree audit on file with Northeast Lakeview College Student Services.

TIER II Prizes include: 

• IPOD Touch 64GB ($387 value)
• Kindle Fire HD7 -16GB ($203 value)
• Kindle Fire HD7 -16GB ($203 value)

Entries from facebook and email will be combined and winners will be selected by random drawing. Winners will be contacted by email and Winners will be required to respond to the notification in a timely manner and to coordinate with NLC to claim their prize. The failure to respond to the notification in the required timely manner (May 15, 2013) may result in forfeiture of the prize.

GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed. Prize winner will be required to sign a Release of Liability. Drawings are open to SAC & NLC students attending Northeast Lakeview College. No purchase necessary to win. Submitted entries MUST include banner i.d. Alamo Colleges employees and their immediate family members may submit their entries but will not be eligible to win prizes.

Contest participants must be a registered and enrolled SAC or NLC student taking classes at Northeast Lakeview College and, if selected as winners, must complete a release of liability form to claim their prize. Entries for TIER II prizes will be validated by the Office of Student Services. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Any attempt by a person to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law. Should an attempt be made, Alamo Colleges and NLC reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Contest timeline

• The “Capture Your Future” Campaign will run from Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10am to Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11:59pm 
• Entry verifications: Monday, February 25, 2013 – Monday, April 1, 2013 
• Winner selection and announcement: On or before Friday, May 3, 2013  

Winners have until May 15, 2013 at 5pmCDT to contact NLC and claim their prize. If contact is not made within this time period, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen.

Additional Guidelines and Information

Texas state rules for contests govern this contest giveaway. Any disputes about the contest, rules or prizes will be settled in Bexar County, Texas.
