Northeast Lakeview College was officially established in January 2007 as the fifth institution of the Alamo Community Colleges. However, the campus traces its beginnings back to 1996 as the Northeast Learning Center
on Toepperwein, an extension of St. Philip's College. In June 2000, ACCD purchased a site at 7990 Pat Booker Road
and the first classes were held at Northeast Campus, an extension of San Antonio College and St. Philip's College,
in 2001. Classes were held at this location until 2006 when ACCD purchased and renovated a former grocery store at 8300 Pat Booker Road, its current location.
