If you would like to see in detail which courses you need to take for your desired degree or certificate program at Northwest Vista College, please click here. Otherwise, you may look below for a quickglance.
All public institutions in the state of Texas require at least one math-related course to graduate with a degree. On a student's transcript, math courses that fulfill the core curriculum required of the college or institution according to the official THECB website for core curriculum will be notated with the number 020 next to the math course. Every other core class, such as history (060) or government (070) will be notated with their numbers on the transcript next to them. For math, the 020 component is what matters. The following lists all of the degree plans that Northwest Vista currently offers as well as the math course for each that satisfies the 020 component for that degree plan. If you are an undeclared major or are just planning to transfer with your "basics" please refer to the Associate's degree in general studies for that information.
