Accuplacer Information for Mathematics
The Accuplacer is a test provided by the CollegeBoard which Northwest Vista College uses as an indicator of whether a student is ready for college-level mathematics. Based off the score a student receives, he/she may be placed into a developmental math course if the department feels he/she needs extra preparation before taking a college-level math course.

If a student scores 86 or higher on the EAR, the student will then take the College Level Math (CLM) test for possible placement into MATH 1316, MATH 2412 or higher.
