Student Story: Edmundo

Edmundo Pineda already has the next several years of his life planned out. And one of those goals is to get an associate degree from NVC.

Edmundo recognizes the significance of an associate degree.

“Many students are not always successful when going to a university, so having that associate degree gives you something to fall back on.”

In addition to the degree, Edmundo hopes to attend the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in College Station and then join the U.S. Navy. Following military life, he would like to be an accountant for a Fortune 500 company.

Edmundo said one of the main reasons why he chose NVC is because he is trying to save his mom money, who is a single mother who works two jobs. He added a two-year college saves money from living expenses and higher fees paid at a university.
