Ongoing - NVC College Ambassadors Program

Looking for a unique college experience? The College Ambassadors Program was established to promote the vision, mission and values of Northwest Vista College and to enhance recruiting and retention efforts. Individuals selected to serve as College Ambassadors represent a select group of knowledgeable, motivated and enthusiastic students who assist with college community activities and special events. Benefits include scholarships, leadership training, and networking opportunities.

Ongoing - Tour Trackers


We are passionate about helping our community become familiar with the campus and the programs available. Through your experiences, you have become experts in student life. Therefore, you the student, can help others understand what college life can be like at Northwest Vista.


Conduct tours for future students, community members, and guests.

Serve as a representative of the college

Provide accurate information about college programs and services.

Tour Training is provided.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 1-2 hours/week. Tours normally take 45 min. – 1hr.

Visit Vista!

Visit Vista Preview is a great opportunity for prospective students to learn about the enrollment process and tour our beautiful campus. Volunteers will be greeting students, assisting students with general questions and conducting tours.

Date(s) and times volunteers are needed:

Saturday, March 7: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 11: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 2: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Palmetto Center for the Arts, Theater Program Productions

We are in search of ushers for "Moliere’s Shorts," the first theater program production of the season. Ushers are expected to hand out programs, assist audience members with seating, and represent NVC to the public. Ushers are asked to please dress nicely, as if attending a job interview. Ushers are expected to stay to watch the performance, which is complimentary.

Please note that there are only 4 slots available per performance. Please only sign up if you can firmly commit.
