Vista Dash for Dollars
About the Dash
The Sixth Annual “Vista Da$h for Dollar$” 5K walk/run course will loop the award-winning scenic campus of Northwest Vista College.
Participants can enjoy the sights and sounds of native trees and wildlife, while experiencing the joy of exercise. Walking the route is encouraged.
Proceeds will benefit NVC kinesiology students through educational scholarship funds.
Sponsoring a Student
The goal for this year's Sixth Annual “Vista Da$h for Dollar$” is to raise $5,000 so if you want to help out and you can’t walk/run due to commitments, please consider sponsoring a student to walk in your place.
You, the sponsor, can register online, pay the $15 registration fee and notify Recreation Sports that you wish to sponsor a student. Then, Recreation Sports will designate a student to walk in your place. After the 5K is completed, Recreation Sports will email you their time.
The date for the Sixth Annual Vista Da$h for Dollar$ 5K walk/run is:
When: 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6th, 2012
Where: The patio of Huisache Hall
Registration is $15 for students, $20 for non-students, and $25 on the race day for everyone. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome.
All participants will receive a Vista Da$h for Dollar$ t-shirt, and first place prizes will be awarded in both male and female categories.
