V2V Advocate: Bill Loftus

Photo - Bill LoftusBill is a retired LTC (United States Army Reserves). He spent eight years on active duty and twenty-two years in the Active Reserve. His last reserve assignment was as the Adjutant General of the 90th Army Reserve Command in San Antonio. He received a Regular Army commission through the ROTC program at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. His first two years of service (his detail branch) was as an Armor officer at Ft. Lewis, Washington. He then spent the remainder of his service in his “regular Army” branch – the Adjutant General Corps where he held a variety of positions, completing his active duty as an instructor at the Adjutant General school. Bill received his master’s degree upon leaving active duty also at Ohio University. Most recently he was the President of the Society of Alumni and Friends of the Army ROTC program at Ohio University. In 2014 he returned to San Antonio, and is an adjunct instructor in speech.
