Dual Credit Students Transitioning to Regular Enrollment & Transcript Requests
Below are helpful links to direct Dual Credit students with requesting an official NVC transcript or attending one of the Alamo Colleges as a First Time in College (FTIC) student.
Requesting an Official NVC Transcript
Per the Dual Credit Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreed upon with your ISD, private school or home schooled parent; the NVC Admissions and Records Office will process your request for an official NVC transcript once they have received a copy of your official high school transcript with the graduation date. (Home schooled students’ official high school transcript with the graduation date must also be notarized.)
Current Dual Credit Students:
In order for you to meet your admission requirements for other colleges or universities prior to graduating from high school; the NVC Admissions and Records Office ask that you complete the following steps to request a copy of your unofficial transcript:
- Complete and submit the Transcript Request Form
- Ensure a copy of your official Photo ID is provided
- Include the following statement within the body of your email or on the cover sheet of your fax: I am a dual credit student and would like a copy of my unofficial transcript.

Please ensure that the NVC Admissions and Records Office has received your official high school transcript with the graduation date prior to requesting an official NVC transcript. Dual Credit Students Transitioning to Regular Enrollment
All Dual Credit High School Graduates must complete the admission requirements as a FTIC (First Time in College) student to ensure a smooth transition from the Dual Credit Program to regular admission and enrollment.
