Interlibrary Loan FAQ
The NVC library doesn't have the book/periodical I need. How can I get it from another library?
- If the item is available at another ACCD library (San Antonio College, St. Philip's College or Palo Alto College), you may go there to borrow it using your student ID. OR
- The NVC library will request it for you and it will be delivered by courier in 3 - 4 days.
The book/periodical isn't available at any ACCD library. What do I do now?
- If we can identify another San Antonio area library that does own the item, we may issue you a TexShare card so that you may borrow it yourself. The reference librarian will explain your options. OR
- For assistance in locating materials outside the district, contact the reference librarian.
