About the Speech Lab

The Speech Lab offers many services to students enrolled in a Speech class or any other class requiring an individual or group presentation. 

We can help in the lab beginning with researching your assignment, organizing and outlining your information and practicing delivering the presentation.  We can also help with PowerPoint Presentations. 

Our services are FREE and available to all students.  We do welcome walk-ins or you can schedule an appointment.

Hours will vary from semester to semester, so please come by to verify times.  You can also call (210) 486-4639 to verify and/or make an appointment.

• Methods to decrease speech anxiety
• Creating (researching, outlining) a speech presentation
• Practicing and reflecting on individual speech delivery
• Creating and using effective visual aids such as PowerPoint
• Group Presentations
