About Student Financial Services

The most important function of the Student Financial Services (SFS) Office is to help students and families pay for a Northwest Vista College education. It is our philosophy that students and parents are primarily responsible for the student's education. However, the goal of the Student Financial Services Office is to assist students avail themselves of as many state and federal financial aid opportunities as possible.

Scholarships, grants and loans are available through the Financial Aid Office. Any or all of these may be combined in a "financial aid package" to help pay for educational expenses. Scholarships and grants do not have to be repaid. Loans must be repaid and are not encouraged at Northwest Vista.
