 WELCOME!

Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in visiting Northwest Vista College (NVC)! One of the best ways to learn more about us is to visit our phenomenal campus, so please take advantage of one of our campus tour opportunities. We look forward to meeting you soon!

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

Our campus tours are approximately forty-five minutes to an hour in length and consist of a walk-through of our beautiful campus and various academic buildings, starting at the Cypress Campus Center (CCC). Tours are led by Welcome Center staff members (Professional or student staff) or Wildcat Tour Tracker volunteers (current NVC students). NVC tour guides will provide you with a candid view of campus, covering our history and student life, as well as program offerings and student services. Please note that formal presentations are not a part of these tours. Should you have specific questions about services or programs after your tour, your tour guide will happily connect you with the appropriate staff member who can assist you.

HOW TO ENJOY A CAMPUS TOUR

INDIVIDUAL TOURS (1-2 accompanying guests permitted)

Individual tours for Summer 2016 will be conducted on Tuesdays only, from June 7th through July 26th and will be offered by appointment only. Tours will be conducted on Tuesdays at 11:30am (tours are subject to change based on staff availability).

Please request your campus tour appointment here. Once your request is received, your visit will be reviewed by our staff within two business days. Tours are scheduled based on availability on a first-come-first-serve basis (so schedule early!). Once your tour has been scheduled, you will receive confirmation email of your date and time. Please do not plan for a tour if you have not established contact with a staff member and received this confirmation as we want to provide the best experience possible for you.

GROUP VISITS (groups of 10-25 students)

Group tours for Summer 2016 will also be conducted June 7th through Tuesday, July 26th and will be offered by appointment only. Tours will be conducted on Tuesdays at 9am.

Organizations or schools interested in a group tour should request a visit here prior to making visit arrangements.  Group tours are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis and requests should be made at least two weeks in advance to secure availability.  When submitting your request, please include the following: your organization name, point of contact name and number, desired visit day and time, and the size of your group. A Welcome Center staff member will then contact you to arrange your tour and provide confirmation details. Once your tour has been scheduled, you will receive confirmation email of your date and time. Please do not plan for a tour if you have not established contact with a staff member and received this confirmation as we want to provide the best experience possible for your group.

Please direct questions about your request to nvc-welcomesyou@alamo.edu or by contacting our Campus Tour staff directly at 210-486-4743.

We look forward to serving you soon!
