Palo Alto College provides Counseling Services free of charge to enrolled students. Academic Advisement is offered to prospective students, undeclared majors, and students enrolled in courses in the Student Development Program.

When enrolling in college for the first time, students meet with a counselor or advisor for academic advisement and registration. Thereafter, counseling services are available to assist students in various phases of academic, career, and personal development. Professional counseling is available for day and evening students.
