General Educational Development (GED) / GED Bilingue

If you need to obtain employment, advance in your career, or enroll in college or training you will need to demonstrate to employers or colleges that you have at least a high school education or its equivalent.

Palo Alto College's GED High School Equivalency Certificate review course will help you develop the math, writing, reading and critical thinking skills you'll need to succeed in passing the GED High School Equivalency Certificate exam. We cover all four GED subject areas with a strong emphasis on Math and Writing skills. Palo Alto College provides students with practice tests, tips on time management, and study skills.

Each program is combined with a support system that is designed to help students continue their education by receiving an Associate’s degree or through CCE’s vocational training with College and Career Pathway information sessions. The programs have flexible schedules with both morning and evening courses, affordable prices, full preparation in English or Spanish, and highly qualified instructors. Courses run year-round in eight-week sessions.

All students will receive additional support through the CANVAS online program where they can engage in highly interactiveGED prep lessons that focus on the 4 content areas of the GED exam with specific short practice test.

Official GED (Pearson) Exams are available on our campus in Ozuna Library and Learning Center, Room 143. Please register at the site for an appointment.
