Job Entry Training Programs
Accounting Payroll Clerk Certificate (120 hours)
The Accounting Payroll Clerk Certificate is designed for individuals that are interested in preparing payroll or would like to learn a portion of accounting. Students will have the opportunity to prepare an actual payroll register; while learning the processes involved with local and federal tax laws, ledgers, special journals, and employer/employee deductions and contributions. This certificate offers 120 hours of accounting and payroll training. Upon successful completion, students will gain the experience and hands-on training to prepare payroll. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Students seeking financial assistance are encouraged to submit all paperwork promptly, as it takes 4-6 weeks to process.

QuickBooks (60 hours)
This course is designed to offer individuals the opportunity to receive hands-on training, learn the special features that QuickBooks Pro offers, and increase speed and accuracy. In the finance workforce, it is highly recommended that individuals be proficient with software applications such as QuickBooks as they will be used daily to complete immediate job requirements. Textbook(s) required.
Loan Processing Clerk Certificate (240 hours)
The job entry training program is geared for individuals wanting to learn the banking industry; specifically loan processing. The 240 hour program offers basic training opportunities that an individual would need to know to work in a financial setting and process loans, accordingly. The program includes providing hands-on training in critical areas of loan processing such as loan applications, underwriting, debt ratios (ability-to-pay calculations), background investigations, salary calculations, loan auditing, loan closing, credit report analysis, credit investigation, personal finance, auto finance, sale finance, mortgage finance and bank loans. The curriculum is designed to provide students with training on loan processing principles and practices. Textbooks required.
