 Medical Front Office Certificate (345 Hours)

Palo Alto College Corporate and Community Education would like to invite you to participate in the Medical Front Office program. This training will prepare you to have the most recent trade skills and abilities to become employable as a front office representative in the medical field. This certificate offers 345 hours of intense training. This program is Workforce Investment Act (WIA) approved. You will train in the following areas:

  • Medical Terminology - HITT 1005
  • Medical Coding - POFM 1000
  • Keyboarding - POFT 1029
  • Microsoft Excel 2013 - ITSW 1045
  • Customer Service - BUSG 1005
  • Job Readiness - POFT 1006

Classes will meet at Palo Alto College. For further information, please call today to speak to a representative. This program qualifies for Financial Aid. Textbooks required.

This training is customized to assist businesses and their employees to learn the concepts that will help increase a company’s overall workflow. Individuals will learn the concepts and gain critical thinking skills to work in an office environment. Hands on training will also be available in certain areas of the workplace such as incorporating company policies and procedures when using a computer, printer, and telephone in the office. This training will equip businesses with the developmental internal skills that every department needs to run a successful company.

The Corporate & Community Education Division at Palo Alto College is committed to the concept of lifelong learning and the workforce development of our community.
